Thank you. I'll give both a try biggrin.gif ; emailing for my registration and adjusting my text color a bit darker. Actually, I hadn't even realized that it had turned to pure white.

Thanks again,

I've got my colors back. Whee! My problem, now, though is that %h (highlight on some Tinymux based databases) now show up as as close to black as it can get and still be seen. This, to me, is a problem. I've turned bold on, thinking that this will fix the problem and everything else highlighted becomes obnoxiously so when all I wanted to do was see the highlighted plain text (non-colored). Going into the 'Edit Ansi Settings' at all crashes Savitar completely so I just avoid it altogether.

My next problem concerns registration. I've been registered for quite a while now and, with the installaiton of 1.3, it's suddenly lost that information and brings up the registration field again. Truly, this is no more than an annoyance as Savitar continues to work, but it's been so long that I've registered that I have no idea where my original email is anymore, if it's even in the mail client that I'm using now.

Please help.

I'm having the same problem, as well as ansi still not working and whatever world preferences I set (and save) getting reset. I've even tried deleting world files and starting from scratch. Still nothing. sad.gif

I haven't been about in a while, which might be good as I've had little or nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, this post heralds another problem I've found:

All of a sudden, ansi seems to have vanished... completely. None of my windows to any of my worlds are showing anything in color whatsoever where there was up until yesterday (of this report's writing). When I pull up the ansi window from the edit window, Savitar crashes out altogether. Please help.

PS: Forgot to mention that I'm using 1.3b6 on Jaguar. tongue.gif

I've just started using the latest build and my startup commands still only fire minutes, sometimes hours, after having to manually connect. Admittedly, some of my worlds/windows still act as they're supposed to (suprisingly, my staff alts wink.gif ), but most of them do not. For expediency, I've had to set my ##tasks while connected only to have my startup scrips fire at some point later and I either have double tasks, or I have to go in and manually kill one. I'm not sure how much better to explain it, but I hope it can be fixed.

Thanks,
Stormy

Well, Savitar; the latest build, crashed on me for no apparent reason tonight. I haven't a clue what any of this means, but here's the crash log... the whole of it:

QUOTE (jay @ May 7 2003, 02:59 PM)
Well, are they firing or are they late? It makes a difference knowing this when I address your bug report.

I use startup commands in many places, I haven't seen them not fire. Could you give more details please?

Actually, they're firing late; when I'm already well into the session after having to log in manually. smile.gif

When I start up Savitar, I double click the world icon in my folder (though this also happens when I double click the Savitar program icon). It connects to my world and then it just sits there. I end up having to log in manually, and go about business as usual. About an hour or so (my timer is set to 56 minutes), the triggers finally fire setting my ##task, as well as various other routines I go through including entering username and password.

Hope this helps some. smile.gif

Savitar didn't crash, so I have no crash log this time, but my startup commands no longer fire with 1.3b2, or they fire well into the session. I don't know if this is unique to 1.3b2, to me, or fixed in 1.3b3.

As the name may indicate, though the avatar may not (yet), I have a penchant for playing Storm on Marvel types of MUSHes/MUXes, and Savitar has served me well though I manage to find a way of breaking //each and every version I've managed to download//. rolleyes.gif While tastes may vary, the two that I frequent the most are: X-Men: End Times and X-Men Tomorrow People. Shameless plug but no links yet. Not until I get myself a proper avatar, at least. wink.gif

Two forms have been, in my opinion, my favorites; a pop-up window with suggested corrections a la MUSHclient, or underscored a la MS word with the option to right click and see a list of possible suggestions for the corrected spelling.

Just my tuppence,
