Trigger logging?, Can output in window trigger logging? Options

Is there any way to set up a trigger that, when a certain thing comes across the output pane, will open and begin dumping a log (capture to file)?

Even if I have to click OK to accept the log filename, if it could get as far as even opening the log dialog it would be great.

Looked in Local Commands in the manual, but nothing with this function seems to be there. Maybe I'm dense. A world preference setting to always log with this world would be fine too.
