Can someone post for me a working example of how to end a 'word' before 'one of these characters'?
I'm trying to set up triggers so that members of my group can issue group tells and evoke responses from me. While it's easy to have: $$groupie tells the group, 'heal' evoke c heal %%groupie How would I get it to recognize (correctly) $$groupie tells the group, 'dispel $$mob' ? The mob's name could have any number of characters in it, but getting that closing apostrophe caught in the variable screws things up. Would I set a trigger to %%groupie tells the group, 'dispel eros' and then click the 3rd button, 'end the word before one of these characters: ' or would I set the trigger to %%groupie tells the group, 'dispel $$mob and then end it before the apostrophe, which i think would be the closing one? And where can I get some info on 'Regular Expressions'? Are they the ISO standards for the varible schemes? I have them printed somewhere, where ^ (caret) marks the beginning of a line and such. |
