Not sure what to do about this, but after checking the 'Substitute it with this text...' box at the bottom of the 'Matching' pane in an edit trigger window, I can't get it to work. I'm wondering what I'm missing.
I brewed a potion on this mud and then identified it, it said 'Spell: clear thinking' so I drank it, of course since I don't have the spell 'clear thinking' memorized, under my score it reads 'You feel smarter than usual...' without actually giving me the name of the spell (which is what I expected from the mud I play, I just wanted to mess with this substitution. Why can't I get it to work? Do you have to use regexes to find/replace entire lines? |
