Prompt lag Options

I am pleased that there is now a Savitar that runs on OS X, but there is something about it that irritates me.

In my old version 1.1.1, the prompt <91hp 187m 47mv> (or whatever values) came up in the window immediately after hitting return. With version 1.3.5, there is a lag - the prompt comes up really slowly. This is not only off-putting, but means that I don't know what my stats are until - sometimes, at least - it's too late and I've been killed!

Is there anything I can do to configure this? Are the developers going to be able to fix this?
