The software is included with the purchase of a Fretlight guitar and is also available for free download on the company’s website for those who already own a Fretlight. Fretlight Studio 4.5 is available for PC users and is compatible with Windows 7, Vista and XP. The software allows a user to watch Fretlight music videos while lighting up their Fretlight guitar so they may learn chords, scales, play songs, take video lessons, or improvise a solo.

Fretlight Studio 4.5 offers the following upgrades from the previous 4.2 version:
