Privacy & usage statistics
Savitar 2 is a small, independent project from Heynow Software. We collect only the minimum information needed to understand whether the app is working well for people and where it needs attention.
Anonymous app statistics
Official Savitar 2 builds may send anonymous usage statistics through TelemetryDeck. These events help answer basic product questions, such as which app versions are still in use and whether a feature is being opened successfully.
These statistics are not used for advertising, resale, or user profiling.
What may be included
- App version and build number.
- General operating system version, such as the macOS major release.
- Anonymous event names for basic app activity and feature health.
- A TelemetryDeck identifier designed for aggregate analytics rather than personal identification.
What Savitar does not collect
- Your name, email address, or account information.
- World names, character names, server addresses, or session text.
- Chat content, command history, macros, triggers, or notes.
- Precise location information.
Development builds
Development and local test builds may disable telemetry entirely or use separate diagnostic settings while features are being tested.
Forum and website
The Savitar forum is hosted separately at Discourse. If you create a forum account or post content there, Discourse handles that account data under its own site behavior and privacy settings.
